It’s Time to Turn the Power Back On

 

Isaiah 36: 1In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah’s reign, King Sennacherib of Assyria came to attack the fortified cities of Judah and conquered them. 2 Then the king of Assyria sent his personal representative with a huge army from Lachish to confront King Hezekiah in Jerusalem.

 

Spiritual Parallel: The possibility for revolution is linked to the power of ____________ .

 

It is our connection point in our relationship with God. Without it we are like the ________ without power, chaos ensues. 

 

CHALLENGE: How many of us keep switching channels and changing knobs when we need to get out of the ___________________.

WE NEED REVOLUTION: WE MUST TURN THE __________ BACK ON.

 

OUR RESPONSE

1When King Hezekiah heard their report, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and went into the Temple of the LORD to pray.

GOD’S RESPONSE

6 the prophet replied, “Say to your master, ‘This is what the LORD says: Do not be disturbed by this blasphemous speech against me from the Assyrian king’s messengers.

ACTIONS THAT LEAD TO LIFE

Ezekiel 20: 13 “But the people of Israel rebelled against me, and they refused to obey my laws there in the wilderness. They wouldn’t obey my instructions even though obedience would have given them life.
